In the same building as the Port Credit Marina there is a great boating supplies store , offices, and the LA or Lake Affect patio bar and grill restaurant.  Mostly frequented by the boat owners, this local place goes from relaxed and laid back to a blasting party town late at night.  The music rocks and the mood is all about drinking and fun times with a rock band and or live music til late in the night!  It’s a small cozy place to check out, and the patio is mist cooled as it doesn’t get too much breeze on a hot summer day.  I like their reasonable prices , the music when I’am in the mood for it, and the boaters tales of adventure and excitment on the high seas!   1 Port Street East, Port Credit, Mississauga.

Actually, it’s not just for the great fish and chips that people come to eat here,it’s the river side atmosphere!  When you look out the window, or sit on their covered patio, you’re right in front of the fishing boats at the harbour, right in the fishing and boating traffic, as it were.  The crusing and charter boat companies are lined up in front of you. It’s a beautiful day, and after your fish and chips all you want to do is go check out the boats, talk to the salomn fishermen, and just take in that East Coast feeling.  Port Credit feels like a little bit of Nova Scotia right here!  This is another eatery full of people who like to fish and have alot of local colour!
